Are you kidding me? The 2 redsox players you just named haven't even come close to Jeter! Don't get me wrong their great players but Jeter has been in the postseason a lot more times then BOTH of them! Since Jeter has been a yankee he has been in the playoffs every year! Plus he has a Major League Baseball record 150 career postseason hits, and also holds records for most postseason singles (108), at-bats (478), runs scored (85) and strikeouts (92).

I bet if you added both manny and big pappa they wouldn't even equal his attempts at the plate!

I guess you are forgetting about Manny's trips to the playoffs with the Indians as well. He hasn't played in quite as many games, but has probably only missed the playoffs twice since he has been in the majors.

Jeter has had some great playoff moments, but about all came pre 02.

Who cares when! If someone said Derek Jeter isn't that good or isn't one of the best of all time well then their crazy as hell! I didn't say he was the best of all time but he's up there!

those would all be impressive.....minus the strikeouts of course if he didnt have that many more opportunities than anybody else

wgere his stats lose some luster is when you consider that hes had many more opportunities but others like manny and papi have better stats in some categories despite less chances
